Welcome to CBB3D. Feel free to mill about the cabin. To participate, you'll need to register ( of course ) and then you'll be on your way to stardom! Well, posting anyway. You'll also have access to the latest polls and download area. Some areas wont become available to you until you're an active/participating member so if you don't see something you're looking for right away, relax and introduce yourself. We don't bite and those that do have had their shots.
CBB is a family-safe community so profanity and nudity don't belong here. A good sense of humor is useful, but not required. Um ... a towel comes in handy from time to time as well. Anyone with allergies to trout might want to consult a physician before entering.
New members should take a moment to post a new thread in the Coffee Bar area so we can do the official Meet'n Greet thingie. We live for that ya know.

Aabh writes "Ahem... Recently it was brought to my attention that I may have... slightly... neglected the CBB population by not posting a short blurb on the recent 2D challenges in the 2D forum...
Well, I must confess that person -and I won't name any *Koff JD* names- did, indeed, have a Good Point, if not a little scaley.
So without further ado -or abuse *koff JD*... Is there a draft in here?- I shall now erm... tell you the four major points of the Challenges... or something...
1) The Challenges are for the sake of improving your artwork No one is here to make fun of your stick figures or your inability to draw a straight line. The Challenges were designed so that we artists would be working on a picture all the time... instead of letting our skills go to waste by not putting pencil to paper for months -or, indeed, years- on end. Come one, come all. Even the 3D artists can join in and perhaps submit a composition for a future Vicki render in there (It doesn't have to even look like her). It's a fun way to either gain skill or maintain skill.

2) Be sure to read #1!
Good, that's 2... now 3... um.... 3.... well... 3...
3) There are rules for size and stuff in a sticky in the forum... be sure to read them too...
